Dyslexia in the Workplace

Dyslexia is a recognised disability but some employers can overlook the strengths a dyslexic person can bring to the table.  Good staff are hard to come by so supporting employees with a specific learning difficulty is vital.

People with dyslexia often hide their difficulties because of embarrassment, or fear that it will affect their prospects. However, once they have a deeper understanding of the reasons why they do things in a certain way,  they can begin to learn new strategies to help overall efficiency and increase productivity in the workplace. This video is to help both employers and employees to understand dyslexia and gives tips to help to support people in the workplace.
